
Paul T. Lund Attorney
Paul T. Lund is an experienced and passionate criminal defense attorney with an extensive practice primarily in the North Texas area. Paul has successfully handled a wide variety federal criminal matters from beginning to end including: initial federal investigations, target letters, grand jury matters, indictment, trial, direct appeals, and post-conviction matters. In his more than fifteen years as a defense attorney, he has handled a wide variety of federal crimes from complex fraud allegations (wire fraud, healthcare fraud, bankruptcy fraud, immigration fraud, marriage fraud, contracting fraud) to violent offenses (bank robbery, armed robbery, human trafficking, kidnapping, firearm offenses) and drug offenses. In 2019, Paul became one of the first attorneys in Texas to have a client released early from federal prison under the First Step Act. In 2024, Paul was named the Criminal Justice Act Panel Representative for the Northern District of Texas.
Paul is a graduate of Wake Forest University and Tulane University Law School. While at Tulane he was the Senior Articles Editor of The Sports Lawyers Journal and a member of the Criminal Defense Clinic. Mr. Lund has been trying major criminal defense cases since he was still in law school.
Paul is licensed to practice law in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma, the United States District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. He is a member of the Texas State Bar Association as well as the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. Mr. Lund is also a graduate of the TCDLA’s Trial College.
